At Scent Ireland, we want you to love your purchase. However, if you’re not fully satisfied, we’re here to help. Please review our return and refund terms below.
1. Returns
If you wish to return an item, you may do so within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the following conditions:
The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
The product must be in the same condition as received.
Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation or receipt) is required.
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at [info@scentireland.ie]. Once your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.
Please note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.
2. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome:
If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days and credited to your original payment method.
If rejected, we will explain the reason, and you may choose to have the item returned to you (at your expense).
Important Notes:
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
Sale or clearance items are non-refundable unless they are faulty or damaged.
3. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, please:
Return the original item following the return process.
Place a new order for the desired item on our website.
We cannot guarantee item availability at the time of reordering.
4. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect:
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Include clear photos of the item and packaging for assessment.
Once confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
5. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following items unless they are faulty:
Opened or used fragrance products
Opened personal care items (e.g., diffusers, essential oils)
Gift cards or downloadable products
